The candidates registered for the counselling process who have successfully submitted their preferences for colleges up to the last date can access the WBMCC UG first result and cutoff list using their credentials on the official website. The provisional allotment letters of the shortlisted candidates will be available to download on the website shortly after the release of the first-round results.

The candidates who have received a seat in the first allotment result and want to proceed with it, have to confirm it by reporting to the allotted college before the last date, September 5, 2024. Also, the candidates have to pay a fee/discontinuation bond of Rs One lakh at the respective college by the deadline.
According to the WBMCC, the candidates of reserved categories can be allotted an unreserved seat if they have attained the WB NEET UG round 1 cutoff 2024 for the open category. The candidates who have not received a seat according to their preference or no seat at all have to wait for the council to release the second seat matrix. Based on the preferences of the candidates, the WBMCC will share the second allotment result and the cutoff ranks.
