For every class 12th theory paper, a 50 marks offline test will be conducted before 31st December as per the latest instruction issued by the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE). The school officials are yet to announce the detailed schedule and timings of the offline test. A similar offline test will also be conducted by the schools for the class 10th students between 13th and 24th December 2021. The WBCHSE officials have already announced the class 10th and 12th board exams schedule according to which the class 12 exams will be conducted between 02nd and 20th April 2022 and class 10 exams between 07th and 16th March 2022.
The council has directed the schools to keep the marks secured by the class 10 and 12 students in this offline exam in their custody. On being asked, the schools have to submit the result of class 10 and 12 offline exams to WBCHSE in the desired format.
The WBCHSE class 10th and 12th Board exams (theory) will be conducted over 3 hours. The class 10th exams will be conducted between 11:45 AM and 3:00 PM whereas the class 12th exams will be conducted between 10:00 AM and 1:15 PM. However, the exam duration of the vocational subjects will be 2 hours. The class 12 practical examinations of WBCHSE will be conducted between 15th February and 02nd March 2022.
Schools affiliated with the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) have resumed offline classes from 16th November amidst strict adherence to the CoVID-19 safety protocols. Currently, the physical classes for classes 10th and 12th are being conducted on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays while Tuesdays and Thursdays are earmarked for classes 9th and 11th.
