WBCHSE Class 12 Exam 2022: The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) might reschedule the West Bengal HSE (Higher Secondary Examinations) 2022 because of by-elections to Asansol Lok Sabha seat and Ballygunge assembly constituency, in a press meet Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said. The West Bengal higher secondary (HS) exams 2022 are scheduled to be held from April 2 to 26, while the by-polls will be held on April 12 and votes will be counted on April 16.

As per the media reports, Banerjee during an interaction with students who have recently returned to Bengal from war-torn Ukraine said that “ Higher Secondary Examinations are closing in but the by-election dates are overlapping with the exams. There may be a change in the dates of the examinations. Let me see, I will have a discussion on it.”
Just recently, the WBCHSE revised the West Bengal Class 12 exam date 2022 to avoid overlapping with Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2022 exam dates. As per the current WBCHSE exam timetable 2022, the West Bengal Board Class 12 exams were scheduled to be held from April 2 to 20. With the new revision of the date sheet, the WBBSE Class 12 exam will finish on April 26 instead of April 20.
West Bengal board has released the revised Class 12 timetable on March 8, 2022. However, just a few days later, the National Testing Agency (NTA) rescheduled JEE Main 2022 exam dates due to an overlap with several board exam 2022 dates. As per the new schedule, the JEE Main 2022 revised dates for session 1 are April 21 to May 4, 2022.
With the CM hinting at rescheduling West Bengal HS Exam 2022 again, students are thus advised to visit the WBCHSE official website, wbchse.nic.in, for the latest update.
