- The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board has issued an official notification for providing the facility of help centres to create awareness about counselling procedure amongst candidates.

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board, also known as WBJEEB has issued an official notification for providing the facility of help centres which will conduct mock counselling sessions for the WBJEE 2017 . The help centres will start functioning from 15 May, 2017. This facility will be available on all working days from 11 am to 5 pm. It will remain operational until 30 May only.
These help centres are set up with an aim to create awareness amongst the students and to provide them hands-on experience in the e-counselling process as well as in choice filling for admissions so that they don't face any problems during the WBJEE counselling that is scheduled to start tentatively from June 2017.

All the candidates are advised to visit the nearest centre to them and understand the process of seat allotment, counselling and choice filling for WBJEE 2017 as well as for JEE Mains 2017.

After the announcement of results, the qualifying candidates will have to participate in actual counselling procedure of WBJEE 2017. Like last year, the counselling procedure is expected to have three rounds for the academic year 2017-18. WBJEE 2017 counselling process includes the following stages:
- Online Registration and payment of fee
- Locking of the choices
- Seat Allotment
- Verification of the documents and payment of the tuition fee at the reporting centre.
