Briefed below are all the important instructions that the candidates must follow after the seat allotment, if allotted a seat.

Online Reporting:
  • During the online reporting, the candidates must pay a seat acceptance fee of Rs 5000/- irrespective of whether the candidate wishes to go for upgradation in the next round or not.
  • If the seat acceptance fee is not paid, the candidate will be disqualified from the counselling, including the mop-up round.
  • The fee must be paid online using net banking, credit/debit card, or UPI.
  • Upon successful fee payment, the candidate must download the seat allotment letter.
  • If the fee is paid during the earlier round, it is not to be paid again.
Physical Reporting:
  • For the document verification process, all candidates shall report at the allotted institute, again irrespective of whether the candidate wishes to go for upgradation in the next round or not.
  • If a candidate fails to report for document verification, his/her allotted seat will be cancelled and the candidate will become ineligible for further counselling processes.
  • However, if documents are verified during the earlier round, it is not required to be verified again.
  • After the document verification, the candidate will have the following seat upgradation choices:
    • Auto-NO-upgradation: If a candidate has been allotted his/her preference #1, then the candidate must Freeze their current seat allocation and take admission at the institute. If not, the candidate will automatically become ineligible for next round participation, including the mop-up round.
    • NO-upgradation: If the candidate is satisfied with the allocation even if preference #1 is not allotted, then the candidate can choose to Freeze the seat and complete the admission formalities at the allotted institute. Once the Upgradation option is chosen as NO, the candidate will be debarred from all future seat allotments.
    • YES-upgradation: If the candidate is not satisfied with the current allocation and wishes to go for a better allotment in the next counselling round, then the candidate must select YES as the upgradation option. Such candidates will be eligible for the next counselling round, if any.
  • If no upgradation option is selected or if the candidate fails to complete all the admission formalities, then again, the candidate will be disqualified from the counselling process.
