The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSSE) is considering incorporating changes in the schedule of Higher Secondary (HS) Exam dates 2022 which was supposed to take place offline from April 2 to April 20 to avoid a clash with the Joint Entrance Examination Main - JEE Main 2022 . However, the WBBSSE 10th-grade board exams will take place from March 7 to March 16.
WBCHSE President Chiranjib Bhattacharya stated that the Board is considering rescheduling the WBBSE HS Exams 2022 dates as several HS candidates also appear for JEE exams conducted nationally. As per his statement, the final decision is likely to take place in the upcoming week. WBBSSE is conducting its exams annually whereas other boards such as CBSE and CISE are two times a year at present.

JEE Main 2022 session 1 has been scheduled from April 16 to April 21 and session 2 will take place from May 24 to May 29. There has been a significant outrage from students on Twitter expressing their demand to postpone the 2022 board examination dates as there is considerably less time gap between the board exams and the engineering entrance exam dates.
The schedule for Karnataka 2nd PUC 2022 has been revised by the Department of pre-University Education, Karnataka to divert a clash with JEE Main 2022. Any objections to the new schedule can be filed by the students by March 5, 2022. The Telangana Board has deferred its second-year exams as they were clashing with JEE Main 2022 session 1.
