West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) has allowed the class 12 students to self examine their board exam papers under the Procedure of Self-Inspection. The students can fill the option to self inspect their papers until February 28, 2020.
As per the official notification released, WBCHSE President Mahua Das stated that the candidates who have been allowed to examine their board papers will have to visit the Vidyasagar Bhavan to examine their papers. Meanwhile, no option for self-examining will be entertained after the prescribed date.

Last year, the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) had announced the new system through which the class 12 students will be allowed to examine their own board exam papers at the Head Office of the Council. The application portal was already opened from July 5, 2019, through which the interested candidates filled their option for self-examining.
The students, however, are required to examine their papers alone and no students will be allowed to escort their answer papers while examining process. Also, no student will be allowed to bring any material inside the examining centre in any case.

After the inspection, the students can also apply for the photocopy of their answer papers to the examination board.
This year, the West Bengal board exam for class 12 will be started from March 12, 2020, which will be conducted up to March 27, 2020.
