West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) has started Madhyamik's (Class 10th) final exams on March 07, 2022 . A total of 11,18,821 students have registered for the WB Board Class 10th exam 2022 out of which 6,21,931 are girls and 4,96,890 are boys. The exam has been conducted for the first time after the year 2020 as the 2021 exams were canceled due to a pandemic. The WB Board class 10th exam is being conducted at 4,194 centers across the state which are following major COVID guidelines. Out of all the exam centers, 1,934 are located in Kolkata.

In order to avoid any paper leaks or malicious activities, internet services will be suspended in some of the sensitive areas. The suspension has followed the reports of paper leaks in some of the centers such as Malda and Murshidabad in years 2019 & 2020.

Important Instructions for WB Board class 10th exam 2022
There are various important instructions that the candidates need to follow during the WB Board class 10th exam 2022. These exam instructions are listed below:
- It is mandatory for all the candidates to bring admit cards to the exam hall without which they will not be allowed to sit for the exam.
- The candidates must reach the exam centers at least 30 minutes before the exam to carry out the pre-exam procedure. No students will be allowed to enter late.
- The candidates must follow all the necessary COVID guidelines including mask, sanitizer, etc. No more than 25 students will be permitted to sit in one class.
- No electronic devices are allowed in the exam hall. The candidates must not bring mobile phones, electronic devices, headphones, and any other electronic gadgets.
- 15 minutes before the exam will be provided to read the question paper. The candidate must read the instructions carefully before attempting the paper.
