Telangana State Government, Private and Minority medical colleges’ altogether offer 5040 MBBS seats through NEET 2022 out of which 1,740 seats are from the government medical colleges. Around 517 seats of the government medical colleges are provisioned to provide admission in the open category of pan India. As per the sources, Telangana is likely to have 8 new medical colleges established for this academic year. If these 8 new medical campuses are established, then there would be 1200 more MBBS seats for the state.
