What is Betterment after DTE Maharashtra Polytechnic Seat Allotment 2024?
All important instructions regarding Betterment after DTE Maharashtra seat allotment are as follows:Those who opt for betterment will be eligible to participate in the next rounds and need not report to the allotted institute mentioned in the seat allotment.
Such candidates need to accept their seats as per the instructions provided in clause 9(1)(i), and then participate in the other rounds as and when they are held.
The betterment option means that the candidate has been allotted a seat other than their first preference, however, they want a seat in the course/college mentioned as first preference, and hence would like to take part in the next rounds.
In case of betterment, irrespective of whether a candidate accepts or not accepts the allotted seat, they will be able to participate in the following rounds. Candidates who choose betterment need not fill out the preference form for the following round again.
Candidates must note that after round 3, there will be no scope for betterment as no CAP Round 4 will be organized by the conducting authorities.
The allotment that will be made or retained in Round 3 will be considered final for admission.
After choosing an option for the seat, and confirming it on the official portal, candidates need to pay the admission fee for the assigned college online and generate a receipt for the same.
Next, candidates will be required to report to the assigned institute for document verification and admission process. Candidates will have to show all the original documents asked, for and also the confirmation receipt for admission.
The same will be verified by the authorities, and after checking all the claims, admission will be provided or cancelled by the authorities.
