JEE Main Day 1 and shift 1 exam concluded on 25th July 2022 (today)between 9 AM to 12 Noon. The JEE Main 2022 shift 2 will start from 3:00 PM to 6:00 pm. Now, most of the applicants who have already appeared for the exam or will be appearing in shift 2/ July 26 to 29 exam must be looking to know the toughest subject in the JEE Main 2022 shift 1.
Well, overall the difficulty level of the exam was moderate whereas chemistry was considered to be easy compared to other subjects. The physics was between moderate to difficult. But the mathematics was comparatively difficult and lengthy. The questions in the JEE Main 2022 shift 1 mathematics section covered all the chapters but the emphasis was on the algebra and conic section.
The weightage was given to chapters like Probability, 3D Geometry, Matrices, Vectors, and complex numbers. While most students assumed that the main weightage will be given to calculus but in the JEE Main 2022 shift 1 calculus was given less weightage according to the student.
According to students, math was hard but physics also falls in the category of moderate to difficult. The overall JEE Main 2022 comprised 90 marks where 30 marks were assigned to each section. There were a total of 20 MCQs and 10 NAT questions in every section.
