Who is eligible for CSAB Special Round Counselling 2024?CSAB Special Counselling 2024: The Central Seat Allocation Board is to begin the registration process for CSAB Special Round Counselling 2024 rounds from July 26, 2024, for the eligible candidates. CSAB Special round counselling is conducted for admissions to the remaining seats at NITs and the system after the JoSAA admissions have concluded. All candidates interested in participating in CSAB Special Counselling 2024 shall note that they will have to register fresh. JoSAA registrations will not be considered. The detailed eligibility criteria and fees required for registration are listed here for reference of the candidates.
Who is eligible for CSAB Special Round Counselling 2024?
As all candidates will be required to register as fresh candidates for the CSAB Special Counselling 2024, here are the required eligibility criteria and required fee details:
| Type of Candidate | Eligibility Criteria |
|---|---|
| Type 1 | Those candidates who have not registered for JoSAA yet are eligible for CSAB Special Counselling 2024. |
| Type 2 | Candidates registered for JoSAA, yet no seats were allotted throughout the counselling process. |
| Type 3 | Candidates allotted seats during JoSAA counselling have not completed admission due to failure of Seat Acceptance Fee Payment. |
| Type 4 | Those candidates who have exercised the Exit options during the counselling process. |
| Type 5 | Allotted candidates through JoSAA at IITs, have accepted the seat and paid the admission fee, cancelled due to failure of document verification, or those who have withdrawn their seat allocation. |
| Type 6 | Admission to NITs after seat allocation during JoSAA will also be eligible for CSAB Special Counselling 2024. |
| Type 7 | Candidates allotted seats through JoSAA at NITs and who have withdrawn their admissions will be eligible. |
| Type 8 | For candidates who have been allotted seats at NITs + System and the document verification stage due to updating of details, the seat allocation has been cancelled and was not allocated any seats in the subsequent rounds. |
| Type 9 | Those who have failed to pay the Partial Admission Fee after the document verification process, and who have been allotted seats at the NITs + System will be eligible. |
