The reasons have not been clarified at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in but the choice filling is expected to begin soon. Based on the previous year’s trend, choice filling usually begins 5 to 10 days after the seat matrix and fee structure is released. Hence, accordingly, there is no major delay in the option entry.
Since the seat matrix and fee structure were released on July 19, there is a high possibility that KCET 2024 option ontry might begin by the last week of July 2024 . If there are any further delays, it will most likely start in the first week of August 2024. In 2023, the choice filling started on August 6, 2023. If the admission schedule is followed, then the option entry may begin around the same duration.

Once the choice-filling process begins, candidates will be able to mark their choices in the preference form. The deadline for choice filling will be intimated to the candidates. Last year, the choice filling link was deactivated in three days, so this year also, from the time the link gets activated, the same might be deactivated within 72 hours.
