Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic in the nation, CLAT 2020 was postponed numerous times. This scenario has pushed ahead the yearly exam schedule which has also resulted in some uncertainty regarding CLAT 2021. Will CLAT 2021 be Delayed? However, the Consortium of NLUs announced on June 14 that CLAT 2021 will be conducted on July 23 in offline mode from 2-4 pm, laying all the speculations to rest. All the public health safety and physical distancing measures are expected to be followed to avoid the spread of COVID-19. Applicants will be required to carry gloves, masks, personal hand sanitisers to the venue.
CLAT is a national level entrance exam of law that is usually held through an offline mode. Due to COVID-19, the Consortium of NLUs had decided to conduct the exam via online computer-based, centre based mode in 2020. The exam committee came to the conclusion considering the logistics involved, be it limited exam centres or handling of question papers or answer scripts which was difficult in view of the coronavirus.

When Will CLAT 2021 be Held?
The Consortium of NLUs has released the official notification regarding CLAT 2021. The CLAT 2021 application process closes on June 15 and the exam will be held on July 23. Candidates are required to be aware of the exam pattern , syllabus and best books of the exam before appearing for the exam.
