JEE Main April 2021 Postponed, New Exam Date to be Out Soon

With the current Covid-19 situation in the country, JEE Main April 2021 scheduled to be conducted from April 27 to 30 has been postponed.

JEE Main April 2021 is scheduled to be conducted from April 27 to 30 has been postponed. The new exam date will be announced soon. Students will be given a minimum of 15 days of time for exam revision after the announcement of the new exam date. Students can make use of this additional time to improve their percentile in the entrance exam.

Due to the rise in the number of Covid-19 cases, many students have been requesting the NTA to postpone the exam. Mini lockdowns are being implemented in many states with travel restrictions. In such circumstances, NTA has decided to postpone the exam. NTA had already conducted JEE Main 2021 in February and March successfully. Since the last week of March 2021, the number of Covid-19 cases has been increasing rapidly. States like Maharashtra, Telangana, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh,  Punjab and MP have postponed the board exams. Considering the current situation in India, conducting JEE Main April 2021 is not the best option as per students.

On the other hand, CBSE 12th board exams scheduled to begin from May 04 have been postponed. According to experts, the postponement of the exam is the best option. JEE Main May 2021 has also been postponed.
