JEE Main Syllabus 2024: With the revision of the NEET UG 2024 syllabus by NMC as per the updated NCERT syllabus, engineering aspirants are now in dilemma whether JEE Main syllabus 2024 be reduced or not. As the syllabus of NCERT Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics has been revised, there is a possibility for the changes in the syllabus this year.
Why will JEE Main Syllabus 2024 be Reduced or Revised?
Here are the probable reasons why the JEE Main syllabus 2024 be reduced or revised –- Firstly, the Chemistry syllabus of NCERT does not have the topic P-Block elements anymore but the syllabus has been included in the NEET UG 2024 syllabus . Therefore, there is a possibility of including this topic in JEE Main 2024 syllabus as well

- Secondly, the Physics syllabus of NCERT has undergone major changes but certain topics that were deleted from NCERT have been included in the NEET UG 2024 syllabus

- Similarly, the Mathematics syllabus of JEE Main 2024 might undergo changes considering the changes in the NCERT syllabus
When will JEE Main New Syllabus 2024 be Released?
As NTA is the conducting body of JEE Main 2024, it is expected to release the revised/ updated syllabus by the end of October or November. As the Session 1 exam is scheduled to be conducted in January 2024, there is a higher possibility of releasing the new syllabus as early as possible.
