The question that has been doing the rounds inside the minds of NEET 2022 aspirants is "Will NEET be postponed to August?". Here is all you need to know about the change in exam date and whether it is even a possibility at this stage.
A storm has been raging on Twitter since the release of the Application Form for NEET 2022 on April 6, 2022. Along with the official notification and the Information Bulletin, NEET 2022 exam details have really been released at a very late stage this year. This has put pressure on all the aspiring candidates who claim that the time period between the date of official announcement and the day of the exam is very short.

Why are aspirants asking for NEET 2022 postponement?
According to the official notification released by the National Testing Agency (NTA), the NEET 2022 exam will be held on July 17, 2022. Aspirants have requested Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan to postpone the national exam to August, if possible. They have cited several problems that will crop up with the date in July. Several dropper aspirants have pointed out that the NEET 2021 Mop Up Round Counselling has still not been resolved and they are waiting for the results. Other candidates have cited the postponement of the JEE Mains Exam 2022 even after the official notifications were made in due time. They find that if NEET 2022 was not postponed, then it would be unfair for the aspirants.
The matter is still up for debate. The decision will be provided soon.

Last year in 2021, the NEET UG aspirants had protested in a similar fashion against the schedule which stated that the exam would be held in August. The NTA has postponed the exam to September 12, 2022, but no further.
