Kakatiya Institute of Technology & Science Warangal (KITSW) in association with Institute of Electronics and Electrical Engineers (IEEE), Women in Engineering (WIE) organized a two-day workshop – ‘WIE zonal Congress’ with the theme ‘Innovation and Entrepreneurship’ at its premises.
“Women in all fields contributed on par with men. Their contribution to the economy is immense,” said Koduri Srinivas, IEEE chair, Hyderabad chapter was the chief guest of the inaugural function.
While Krishnaveni, associate consultant, TCS, delivered a talk on ‘Innovation in Technology’ while entrepreneur from Bangalore, Kalyani Sheshadri, delivered a lecture on ‘natural lifestyles taught by our ancestors’.
Capt V. Lakshmikantha Rao also spoke on the occasion. Present on the occasion were R. Nirmala Devi, S.P. Girija, faculty coordinators and student coordinators K. Anusha Reddy, M. Sunnihith, M. Revanth A. Keerthi, K. Nandana, K. Pradeep, K. Vishalini and other volunteers, along with 130 participants and they made the event a great success.
