XLRI released the official XAT question paper 2024 on January 7, and the response sheet is expected today, January 10. The XAT response sheet will have answers marked by the candidates on the XAT exam day. To download the XAT response sheet, the candidates should enter their User ID and password. On the XAT response sheet, the candidates will find out the questions not attempted and correct and incorrect options apart from the questions and their marked answers.
Along with the XAT response sheet, the authority will release the XAT answer key. At first, the authority will release the provisional answer key so that if the candidates find any discrepancy or any answer to be incorrectly marked, then they can raise an objection against the XAT 2024 provisional answer key. With the help of the XAT response sheet and answer key, the candidates can estimate their XAT 2024 percentile score .

XAT 2024 Response Sheet: How to Calculate Score Using Answer Key?
Using the XAT answer key and response sheet, the candidates can calculate the obtainable marks in the exam. For the same, the candidates should tally their marked answers in the response sheet with the correct answers which will be highlighted in the answer key. Before calculating the marks, the candidates should know the XAT 2024 xam marking scheme:
- 1 mark will be awarded for every correct answer
- 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer
- For more than 8 unanswered questions, 0.10 marks will be deducted
- In part 2, no negative marks will be there
After releasing the XLRI response sheet and answer key, the candidates should cross-check the answers before raising objections (if any).

The mode of raising objections against the XAT answer key 2024 is online only. The candidates can follow the below-highlighted steps to raise objections here:
- Go to the official website of XLRI Jamshedpur
- On the homepage, candidates will find the XAT login page
- Enter the XAT login credentials, that is XAT ID and Password
- Click on the “Raise Objection” tab

Fill out the following fields:
- Question paper and part name
- Question ID
- Selection nature of the questions
- Remarks
- Upload the supporting documents against the raised objection, which is mandatory to upload for successfully raising objections
- Click on the submit button
