Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University (YCMOU) saw a huge number of students applying for various courses in the college. Seeing the response of the students, the university had to extend the admission dates.
According to Dr. Dinesh Bonde, the online registration process to apply for any of the courses at the university began from July 21, 2016. The dates were to end on August 31, 2016 but they were further extended to September 15, 2016 . This was done after the college received a huge number of applications from students. The last date of admission was further extended by two weeks for which the students would not be charged any extra money as late fee.

Except for courses at the agricultural science department and B.Ed course , last date to apply for all the courses have been extended to September 15, 2016.
The admission process had begun online from the month of July. This helped the students to apply for different courses at the university with the help of PCs or from a cyber café.

The YCMOU has made eight divisional centers available for students so that they can apply for the university via those centers. In case of any query regarding admission, students can also call on the helpline numbers available on the official website of YCMOU.
