Hi there, you just need to follow these simple steps for admission in LPU- Step 1: Registration – Candidates must register by going to the official website or clicking on the link provided below. They must enter their names, email addresses, dates of birth, and a valid mobile phone number, after which a registration ID will be produced and sent to their registered email address. Step 2: Payment of Application Fees – Candidates must pay the necessary fee after successfully registering for the LPUNEST. The application fee can be charged via net banking, credit card, or debit card online. Step 3: Filling of Online Application Form – Candidates must fill in all medical, academic, and contact information in the related fields of the online application form after paying the fee. Candidates should double-check all of the information contained in the application form, as incomplete or inaccurate information will result in the application being denied. Step 4: Uploading of Scanned Documents – After filling out the application form, candidates will be asked to upload scanned versions of their documents. Candidates must upload scanned copies of their photograph, birth certificate/Aadhaar card, and certificate of the qualifying exam as per the university's requirements before filling out the LPUNEST application form. Step 5: Submission of Application Form – Candidates must eventually apply for the LPUNEST form by clicking on a button at the bottom of the form after successfully uploading the necessary documents. Candidates can save a copy of their completed application form for future use.

Dear Student,

Admission to the Central Institute of technology (CIT) Kokrajhar is done on the basis of the institute's entrance exam.

The CITDEE is an entrance examination conducted by CIT for admission into the first semester of Degree (B.Tech) programme of study as Direct Entry in six different branches of engineering in CIT, Kokrajhar, which is affiliated to Gauhati University, Guwahati, Assam.

Duration & Format of Entrance Examination:

The Entrance Examination is conducted in three hours of duration with a total of 125 marks. The question paper consists of four (4) sections of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English. Twenty five questions are set from each section carrying one mark each with the exception of Mathematics from which fifty questions are set. The questions are of multiple choices with four options of answers.

The Entrance Examination is usually conducted in six different centres at Kokrajhar, Guwahati,Jorhat, Udalguri, Barama and Kajalgaon. (subject to approval of Admission Committee).

Eligibility

Educational Qualifications: Candidate must have passed 10+2 (Science)or equivalent with a minimum of 45% in the aggregate and 50% of marks for GEN/OBC candidates(45% of marks for St/SC/PH candidates) in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics taken together.

Age limit: Candidates must not be above 21 years, or below 17 years of age as on 1st August of the year of admission. The upper age limit is relaxed to 3 years for Schedule Caste and Schedule Tribe candidates.

Out of the total seats under Direct Entry Scheme, 60% of the seats for those having qualifying marks in CITDEE  and 40% of the seats are offered for those candidates having qualifying marks in JEE(Main).

Normally the Prospectus and Application Forms are available from the following centres (subject to change by Admission Committee) by the first week of February on payment of a certain prescribed fee.
