Dear aspirant I suggest you to apply for LPUNEST. LPUNEST is a national level test conducted by Lovely Professional University(LPU) and is considered for offering Scholarship as well as determining Eligibility for admission in various programmes at LPU. Lovely Professional University is among the top Best private engineering colleges in India. As per the present guidelines, for admission to B.Tech 2023 at LPU, the applicant is required to have 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 with English Physics & Mathematics ) subject to qualifying LPUNEST or CUET. You can grab good amount of scholarship at LPU by scoring above cutoff in LPUNEST (Test to be qualified for getting admission to LPU) or on the basis of your score in JEE. LPU is offering not only conventional Engineering streams/ majors but also one of its kind trend setting streams/ majors transforming engineering education to leap into the next leg of technology upbeat. you can have a look at different streams of engineering related to upcoming technologies offered at LPU at the official website of the university. LPU has 47 NIRF Rankings in 2022 among all government and private universities in India. LPUs School of Engineering is ranked in the top 51 institutions in India. LPU provides ample opportunities to each and every eligible student to secure good placement with the help of a dedicated Division of Career Services.Exhaustive preparatory sessions are conducted before the placement drives of leading brands so that more students can secure good placement offers at dream packages with those brands. Almost 88% of ME students have been placed this year through campus placement drives. The highest package offered for the ME at LPU is 3.6 LPA and the average package is 1.5 LPA. So far in LPU ME students have been placed in companies like Unominda, Altair, Dharam Consulting, Collins India, Hettich India, MVM Industries, Ashok Leyland, Bosch and Siemens Home Appliances, Volkswagon, Punjab Renewable Energy Systems, Wabag, Imperial Society of Innovative Engineers, Steelstrips Wheels, TCI, Spectraforce Technologies, Voltas, Cognizant, Capgemini, Code Nation, DXC Technology, Evalueserve, Anglo Eastern Ship Management, Asahi India, Rockman (Hero group), Samundra, Indo-MIM, Sandhar Technologies, JK Cement, Maruti, XL Dynamics, Cleanmax Solar, Elgi Equipments, Thermax, Bristlecone, Tex Zippers, Giga Solar, Westline Shipping, Raam Group, Nylocore Transmisisons, Saint Gobain Glass India, CHC Consultancy, GE Power, etc. At LPU you will also get opportunity to study abroad through a series of international study programs with partner universities ranging from going abroad for a short duration to getting a degree from a partner University. LPU's international division helps the students to pick a study abroad program which fulfils their career aspirations and helps them to accomplish their goals in life I would suggest that LPU is the right choice for making your career in the field of mechanical engineering. All you need to do is to maintain a good academic record, and LPU will provide you the platform to ensure your placement and brighten your future. Hope this is helpful…..

Mechanical engineering is the study, design, development, construction, and testing of mechanical and thermal sensors and devices, including tools, engines, and machines. ... Mechanical engineers work mostly in engineering services, research and development, and manufacturing. Coming to your question, without any comparison. You have to fulfill the eligibility of the B.Tech Mechanical program is 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST or CUET I would say LPU is better for mechanical engineering based on the following point.LPU is good for Mechanical and automobile engineering. Good placements in a core company as well as a software company. Other than participating in different events like a go-kar Highlights of the Curriculum: Study Abroad:Summer/Winter School/ International Exposure:These Programmes generally happen in the summer vacations or winter vacations of the academic year. A summer/winter school/ international exposure is as form of educational Programme that offers courses, both academic and non-academic. Semester Exchange:Gain a competitive superiority on your fellow students by spending a full semester at partner foreign university.Industry certifications, MOOCs, Hackathons / Co-curricular Competitive events, Workshops, Guest lectures, Educational Trips, Live projects, Incubation projects, Community projects, projects with NGOs etc. are an integral part of curriculum. There are highly experienced faculty members with specialization in various fields like Aerospace Engineering, Automobile Engineering, CAD/CAM, Engineering Design, Industrial Engineering, Machine Tool Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, Metallurgy, Robotics, Thermal Engineering, etc. Some of the companies that visited LPU for mechanical engineering are Unominda, Altair, Dharam Consulting, Collins India, Hettich India, MVM Industries, Ashok Leyland, Bosch and Siemens Home Appliances, Volkswagon, Punjab Renewable Energy Systems, Wabag, Imperial Society of Innovative Engineers, Steelstrips Wheels, TCI, Raam Group, Nylocore Transmisisons, Saint Gobain Glass India, CHC Consultancy, GE Power, Delhivery etc. The placements are highly commendable. The highest salary package offered for B.Tech Mechanical is 31 LPA. LPU provides placement classes to all the students from the very first year who opt for the placement. With the help of this, they can prepare themselves for placements till the pre-final year because the companies will start visiting for the recruitment of students from a pre-final year. Some of the students go for internships also in their final year.
