Can I get admition for LLB course(3 yrs) after passing BA scoring above 60℅ in this year? &If so how many papers i have to complete in the whole course of 3 yrs?

The Law Department at LPU is one of the first departments that came up when LPU was taking its shape. According to the NIRF ranking, the Law School is ranked 24th. The courses are approved by the Bar Council of India. The Career guidance magazine Higher Education Review has recognized Law School at Lovely Professional University among the top-ten most promising institutions of India for its capability of producing next-gen legal professionals. The eligibility criteria for the course is 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English or equivalent. For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium. For SC ST applicants there is 5 percent relaxation while there is 3 percent relaxation for the OBC candidates. In addition to it, for North East states and Sikkim candidates/ Defence Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmir Migrants,) there is 5 percent relaxation. The LPU students were invited by Punjab Police for an internship where they were taught the nuances of investigation. The university has an MOU with NLSIU Bangalore for various academic programs. The highest salary last year was 6.2 LPA and 5.1 LPA was the average salary.

Dear student,

Yes, you can get admission to the course of Bachelor of Law (LL.B) at the Indian Institute of Legal Studies, Siliguri. The minimum eligibility criteria required for admission to LLB at IILS Siliguri is an undergraduate degree with at least 45% marks in aggregate (40% if the candidate belongs to a reserved category). Moreover, the applicant must be not more than 30 years of age (35 for reserved category candidates) in the year of taking admission. You have qualified these conditions and hence, you can get admission to the UG law course of LLB at IILS.

After you get admission to the programme, you will have to cover it in 3 years which will be spread across 6 semesters. In every semester, you will have 5 subjects each for which you will be required to give the semester exams and assignments. Internships are also mandatory for the course of LLB.
