Can I participate directly in JoSAA counselling round 2 without participating in round 1?

No, you cannot join JoSAA Round 2 Counselling, if you haven't registered and appeared in Round 1. For this situation, a CSAB round is conducted for 25 IIITs, 31 NITs, and 28 Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs) participate in the JEE Main counseling. CSAB Rounds can be divided into CSAB NEUT and CSAB SFT.

• CSAB NEUT (North East and Union Territories) is the counseling process organized by the Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) for supernumerary seats in North East and Union Territories.
