Yes, Lovely Professional University (LPU) does offer an NCC course, in response to your question. At LPU, the Army and Air Force have primarily two wings each. You must pass a written test in order to participate in this NCC course. If you pass the written test, you will next need to pass a physical examination. Basically, the written test covers general NCC knowledge, current events, and a little bit of general information. You will therefore have the chance to join NCC at LPU.

Yes LPU has NCC. Infact LPU keeps on conducting various training and camps for NCC students.The National Cadet Corps (NCC) helps for nation-building. The NCC provides exposure to the cadets in a wide range of activities, with a distinct emphasis on Social Services, Discipline, and Adventure Training. All the regular students of schools and colleges can join the NCC on a voluntary basis. It is a very important role of NCC in college and universities. NCC cadets are presently going through various physical and mental exercises. The training is mainly for different soldier-skills including hard drill, marching, map reading, rifle operating, setting-up ambush, emergency duties. In addition, cadets are being prepared to be good citizens through social activities of awareness and awakening, including blood donation, national integration, rural- development projects like MNREGA, environment protection and many more. Benefit of the student for different aspect Student can join NCC in the interesting wing. Additionally, after joining NCC student can also pursue for the UPSC CDSE Exam. And other facility of this University the University is also recognised for its programs in engineering, management, Science and many other courses. Chandigarh university is providing the benefit of sports scholarship to people seeking for admission there. The students can get up to 100% scholarship.

Hello! Yes LPU has NCC. Infact LPU keeps on conducting various training and camps for NCC students. LPU hosted ten-day Annual Training Camp of NCC. In order to impart collective training to all NCC cadets of its battalion, the 8 Punjab battalion is conducting ten-day annual training camp (ATC) at Lovely Professional University campus. More than 500 Senior-Junior Division (SD/JD) & Senior-Junior Wing (SW/JW) NCC cadets from 28 schools and colleges are attending the training camp. Visualizing the mammoth design of the camp, the battalion preferred LPU for its vast infrastructure and support to have high-end conduction of the camp. Under the training, NCC cadets are presently going through various physical and mental exercises. The training is mainly for different soldier-skills including hard drill, marching, map reading, rifle operating, setting-up ambush, emergency duties. In addition, cadets are being prepared to be good citizens through social activities of awareness and awakening, including blood donation, national integration, rural- development projects like MNREGA, environment protection and many more. Camp Commandant Colonel Jarnail Singh informed: “The aim of the camp is to impart collective training to enable cadets to learn how to live together and cultivate spirit of comradeship. This is also to provide cadets experience for team-work, adventure, hardship to make them understand the value of self discipline and integrity. Camp will also help cadets for character building, leadership inculcation, instilling of dignity of labour and more. Above all, the camp will make the cadets eligible for prestigious NCC certificates ‘A’, ‘B’ and ‘C’ Examination. All the best!!

NCC is there in the LPU Campus As of now Army and Air wing both are present. The best thing about NCC in LPU is the Republic day base camps and other group level camps are organized in the university it self so if you want to join NCC you can contact to NCC ANO in Division of student welfare.
