No, Mahatma Jyoti Rao Phoole University (MJRP) in Rajasthan is not an autonomous university. MJRP University is approved by AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) which is a statutory body under the Ministry of HRD, Government of India. Also, MJRP UNIVERSITY was established under MAHATMA JYOTI RAO PHOOLE UNIVERSITY ACT 2009, enacted by the Government of Rajasthan, and is duly recognized under the provisions of Section 2 (f) of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956.
