Dear Rupi,

BDes Fashion Design is the only fashion design course available at Chandigarh University. It is a course with a duration of 4 years. However, fashion design students at the university get the opportunity to exit the course after 3 years. Students who have passed Class 12 with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognised board may apply for this programme. However, admission is based on CUCET. Fees for BDes Fashion Design at the university are Rs 95,000 per annum. This Chandigarh University course follows the Flexible Choice-Based Credit System (FCBCS) along with an industry-oriented curriculum. It also ensures project-based and experiential learning through regular workshops and seminars conducted by industry experts. Students also get exclusive access to various latest software, such as Tukatech, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Corel Draw, and CLO 3D. This helps students to hone their design skills.
