Dear student,

Both LLB and BA LLB are undergraduate degrees in law but the eligibility criteria, duration, and syllabus of them are different from each other. LLB is the degree of Bachelor of Law and for admission to this, you will be required to have a graduation degree in any stream. Candidates who have just completed their class 12th cannot enrol for this degree and have to complete an undergraduate course first. LLB is covered over a span of three years and the syllabus comprises topics of law. You can learn more about LLB admissions in India along with all the details.

BA LLB (Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Law) is one of the many integrated law courses that are offered at almost all the leading law colleges in India. Students can take admission to BA LLB right after completing their class 12th education. The duration of BA LLB is five years and its syllabus includes subjects of law as well as arts. This saves a year with respect to the students who complete a graduation degree of three years and then go for LLB, making it a total of six years.
