Hi..... As per the eligibility criteria for different courses the marks required in boards (qualifying exam) varies from 50% to 60% depending on the course. To take admission to certain courses at LPU you need to qualify LPUNEST or some other national level test, for others you may get direct admission provided you fulfil the eligibility criteria. LPU offers more than 150 courses, and there are certain eligibility criteria that a student is required to meet to take admission. As per the eligibility criteria for different courses the marks required in qualifying exam varies from 50% to 60% depending on the course. The candidate needs to qualify LPUNEST to get admission to courses like B.Tech., MBA, Hons, B.Pharm, MLT etc.. For some courses like BA, B.Comm, BBA etc LPUNEST is not mandatory and you may get direct admission provided you fulfil the eligibility criteria. LPUNEST (Lovely Professional University National Entrance and Scholarship Test) is a national-level entrance test conducted by LPU and is considered for offering scholarships as well as determining Eligibility for admission in various programmes. So, it totally depends on the eligibility criteria for the course you wish to take admission to. You can check the eligibility criteria for your desired course at LPU website. LPUNEST provides an opportunity to applicants who could not perform well in the qualifying examination owing to various personal, academic or procedure-specific reasons and is therefore not able to derive the benefit of the scholarship scheme of the university. Scholarships can be availed in all the Programmes of the University, ranging from Diploma to Ph.D through LPUNEST score, and various other schemes. So, I suggest you to appear in LPUNEST to get maximum benefit. I hope this will help you to have a better insight into the requirements for admission at LPU. Wish you all the best.

Dear Student,

There is no percentage defined to be eligible for admission. All you need to do is complete your 10+2 with good marks for UG courses and for PG courses, you need to have completed graduation from a recognized institute. You can keep an eye on RR Alwar for more details related to admission.
