IIM Indore offers an MBA-equivalent PGP programme and accepts CAT scores for the selection process. The Common Admission Test (CAT) is the most popular and widely accepted management entrance test in India. It is a computer-based test consisting of both MCQ and non-MCQ questions. The CAT exam has three separate sections - quantitative aptitude, logical reasoning and data interpretation, and verbal ability and reading comprehension. Besides the overall CAT percentile of a candidate, IIM Indore also emphasises on a students performance in each of the three components. Therefore, students must put rigorous effort in excelling in all the three sections of the CAT exam and score well in every section. The IIM Indore CAT qualifying cut off remains around 90 (overall percentile). However, it might change year to year. Students also must note that IIM Indore also conducts a Written Ability Test (WAT) followed by a personal interview round as a part of the IIM Indore PGP selection process. The WAT round tests a students verbal abilities and quantitative aptitude. On the other hand, in the PI round, the institute checks your communication skills.
