If you have successfully completed a PGDPC in Counseling Psychology, you may apply to the MS in Psychological Counseling course at the Institute for Behavioral and Management Sciences Chittoor. The 2-year, full-time MS in Psychological Counselling course is developed to get students ready for professions in counselling. The subjects covered in the course are diverse and include:

  • Theories of counselling
  • Assessment and diagnosis of mental health disorders
  • Interventions for mental health disorders
  • Ethical and legal issues in counselling
  • Professional development

Students in the MS in Psychological Counselling must do an internship in addition to their curriculum. Students have the chance to get practical counselling experience through the internship. The MS in Psychological Counselling course at IBMS is accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE).
