I have done my Nursing from INC affiliated school but during the WB JEPBN form filling process I mistakenly submitted 'NO'. Will my form get cancelled?

Dear Student,

It is mandatory for all interested Nursing students to successfully complete their Nursing degree from an INC affiliated school, to be eligible for practicing in India. Therefore, if you have missed out on entering the correct information regarding your Nursing rualification during the WB JEPBN 2024 form submission, your application is likely to be rejected by the official authority. It is important to note that the Indian Nursing Council (INC) plays a crucial role in regulating the standards of nursing education, offering professional training of the nurses, and shaping the course curriculum. Therefore, only students who have completed their Nursing degree from a recognized INC affiliated school will be eligible to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in India.

However, there are some corrective methods to counter the error which are generally offered to students in similar scenarios. You may contact the Administration Office/Admission Officer and directly convey the mishap. There are often provisions for candidates to amend the application error by submitting a Correction Letter to the official authority, reciting the details of the errors made in the application form along with the correct information. You may also enquire about a ‘Form Reset’, generally offered to students by providing them with a new application link in case there is no option to edit their previous application. While there still may be chances to correct the application form error, the chances of your application form getting rejected by the authority are higher in comparison.

Thank you
