Dear Student,

Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga (MDNIY), New Delhi offers two Certificate Courses in Yoga. Students who have completed any of the courses are considered professionally-qualified to be a yoga instructor.

Certificate Course in Yoga for Protocol Instructor (CCYPI)

Duration: 3 months

Intakes: The programme is offered four times each year and begins in the months of:

• April
• July
• October and
• January

Eligibility: Class 10th (Standard X / High School) in any stream from a recognized board.

Certificate Course in Yoga for Wellness Instructor (CCYWI)

Duration: 6 months

Intakes: The programme accepts admissions two times each year and begins in the months of:

• July
• January

Eligibility: Class 12th (10 + 2 / Standard XII / Intermediate) in any stream from a recognized board.

The selection of candidates is done on the basis of an entrance exam conducted by the institute.
