Dear Student,

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) is the organising body of IBPS PO. IBPS PO is one of a popular entrance examination that is conducted for the recruitment of POs (Probationary Officers) in various participating banks across India. The recruitment process is divided into three stages - Preliminary exam, Mains exam and finally the Interviewround. The marks of Preliminary examination are used while generating the merit list, but it is only a qualifying exam. Candidates who qualify the Prelims exam are called to write the IBPS PO Mains examination. The marks obtained in the Mains examination are considered for shortlisting candidates for the interview and also for the final merit.
