How can I opt to wait until the declaration of the seat allotment result of the next round in the WBJEE Counselling Process without losing the seat allocated to me in the previous round?

Dear student, if you are allocated a seat in, suppose say, the first round of the WBJEE counselling process, you have to pay the provisional admission fee first. Thereafter, you will be given two options - Seat Confirmation and Seat Upgradation. Now, if you wish to wait for the second round of seat allotment result without losing out on your first round allocated seat, you have to click on the “Float” option offered in the WBJEE counselling process. Through the “Float” option, you can keep the seat allocated to you in the previous WBJEE counselling round while waiting for the seat allocation result of the next round to be declared. If you are allocated a better seat and you want to secure the seat, your previous allocation will be cancelled. Similarly, if you are not satisfied with the current round allocation, you can go back to your previously allocated seat.
