Instead of my first name, I wrote my full name in CAT 2024 application form. Can I face any problem due to this?

Dear Aspirant,

Writing your full name instead of your first name in the 'First Name' field on the CAT 2024 application form is unlikely to cause a significant problem unless there are spelling errors. IIMs don't allow candidates to make changes to their names once the application form is submitted. During the CAT application form correction, you can only edit your test city preferences, photograph, and signature. It's always recommended to follow the specific instructions provided by the exam authority. As per the CAT 2024 registration guidelines, the candidate's name should be the same as mentioned on the 10th/SSC certificate. It’s always best to ensure that all other required information is correctly filled out and to double-check instructions for any future forms. For queries regarding CAT registration, application and payment processing, and document uploading, candidates can contact the CAT authorities by calling the toll-free number 1-800-210-0175 (Monday to Saturday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM) or send an email to cathelpdesk@iimcat.co.in.
