Is the EWS certificate needed to apply to JEE Mains in January 2025, I don't have EWS what shall I do sir?

To get admissions through the JEE Main 2025 January session, if you belong to an EWS category then the (Economically Weaker Section) certificate will be required for you to apply through the EWS category, valid for the 2024-25 financial year. If you do not carry the certificate with you, in the case you have to apply under the general category where you will not be able to enjoy the perks enjoyed by the candidates belonging to the EWS category. To receive the certificate, you have to make sure that your family income is less than INR 8,00,000 Per Annum. Visit your local revenue office with all the necessary documents such as proof of income, number of family members, and ID proof. If you do not have the certificate before the January session then you can apply for the JEE Main 2025 April session.
