Yes, if student is on merit list at Lovely Professional University (LPU),it means they have qualified based on the required criteria such as entrance exam performance(eg.LPU NEST)or academic qualifications(based on previous exams like JEE Mains, Class 12 results etc).However being on merit list does not automatically guarantee admission. Dear student, to be eligible for an ITI trade, you need to have completed 10th class or have an equivalent diploma from a recognised institution. Minimum marks or merit is not a factor.
