My rank in srmjee phase 2 was 7k. I filled my choice for ECE in srm ktr. But i didn't selected for the course.what should i do now? Will there be another round of counciling if there how to apply

Ideally 7000 rank in SRMJEEE Phase 2 would be a good rank to get you into any core engineering branch at the SRM campuses. However, you should have chosen more branches and campuses at the time of SRM Phase 2 choice filling to increase your admission chances. The List of Courses for SRMJEEE Rank up to 20000 would have helped you shortlist branches in order of preference during choice filling. Even if you missed B.Tech ECE at SRM KTR main campus, you still would have gotten into other engineering branches, like Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering at SRM NCR or SRM Ramapuram campuses with 7k rank. Unfortunately, now both the phases of SRMJEEE counselling for admission are over. There will be no further rounds of counselling. You can either drop a year and try again in the next academic session or look for alternative courses and institutes for admission. However, we would strongly recommend not to miss a year and instead apply in other institutes, like BITS or VIT, which are equally good in terms of ranking, and accept 7k rank for admission to ECE branch.
