The Delhi Institute of Tool Engineering is affiliated with the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University also popularly known as IP University or IPU. The institute is further approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The institute was established in 2007 with 2 campuses, one in the Okhla region of Delhi and the other in the Wazirpur Industrial area. The Delhi Institute of Tool Engineering courses include BTech and MTech which are offered in specialisations like Mechatronics and Tool Engineering. Admission to the UG courses is based on the IPU CET exam and for the PG courses, GATE exam is necessary.
