I dont know about GATE score but being a faculty of LPU I can tell you about M Tech program of LPU. LPU offers M.tech part time as well as full time in CSE, civil, Electrical, biotech, Automobile, ece, IT, Mechanical and mechatronics. 1)Placements are very good. Big brands have visited our Lovely campus for Placements. 2) Additional training provided by LPU such as subject specific and soft skill training. 3) Project Expo: showcase ur hardware and software skills(best projects will be will be selected and awarded prizes by industrial members). 4) Students can attain various professional positions as Developers, Design Engineers, Data Base Administrator, Network Administrator, Data Analyst in IT industry and facilitate their placement in government, semi-government and leading companies like Cognizant, Accenture, HCL , Wipro Technologies, TCS, LG Soft, Tech Mahindra and Infosys.Career in teaching as Lecturer or Assistant Professor in various universities and academic institution can also be started. 5) Opportunities also include pursuing PhD and research position in reputed universities and taking up research assignments in algorithm, database, data mining, cloud computing, networking, artificial intelligence, intelligent systems, web development and various allied areas. Graduates can also enroll into DRDO, CSIO, ISRO labs for doctorate programmes. 6) Entrepreneurship ventures such as consultancy, coaching institutes, training centres and computer retail stores can be started.

Dear Student,

The minimum GATE score required for M.Tech in Civil Engineering is 26-30 for General Category, 24-28 for OBC and 16-20 for SC/ ST. However, the cutoff varies for different institutes and colleges.
