Dear Student,

Admission to the Diploma in Engineering course at Central Calcutta Polytechnic (CCP), Kolkata can be taken through the state-level entrance exams conducted by WBSCTE (West Bengal State Council for Technical Education). The admission procedure for CCP Kolkata has been summarised below.

  • Since you have already completed an ITI course, you are eligible for direct admission to the 2nd year of Diploma Course (Lateral Entry).

  • For lateral entry admissions, you will have to appear for the VOCLET exam.

  • Once you have received the results for the VOCLET exam, you can take part in the online counselling of VOCLET.

  • Select CCP Kolkata as your choice of college in the counselling.

  • Once you have been alloted the college, you will be required to complete the admission formalities of CCP Kolkata, including submission of required documents and fees.

Please feel free to write back to us if you have any other queries.

Thank you.
