LAT Eligibility Criteria 2023
The minimum eligibility for LAT 2023 is mentioned below. Candidates are advised to go through it once before applying for the LAT 2023. If a candidate is successful in fulfilling the eligibility criteria prescribed by the university, he/she would be considered for admission in the 3 year LLB course. If not, the university has the authority to cancel the candidature of such candidates at any stage.
The applicant must be a holder of a graduate degree in any discipline from a recognised university or an equivalent institution.
It is essential for the candidates to score a minimum aggregate of 45% marks.
If the candidate falls under the SC/ST category, he/she is awarded 5% relaxation in the aggregated marks. The OBC candidates can apply for LAT 2023 with a 42% aggregate score.
How to Apply for LAT 2023?
Allahabad University will release the application forms of LAT 2023 on its official website and the candidates can fill up the application form online until the last date. Aspirants seeking admission in the 3 year LLB under LAT 2023 can follow the step by step procedure mentioned below.
Visit the official website of Allahabad University and click ‘AU Admissions 2023’ displayed on the announcement tab.
A new window will pop up. Click on LLB (Hons.) and an application window will be visible.
Before proceeding further, candidates can check the instructions to apply.
Click on the button that says ‘Registration’.
Candidates have to register for LAT 2023, by filling in the important details like Name, Nationality, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, Contact Number, E-mail address, Date of Birth, and Gender.
The aspirant will receive a unique username and password on the registered mobile number.
Candidates have to log in using the password and user name provided in the registered mobile number.
After filling up the form with significant credentials the candidates must upload the required documents.
The next step is to pay the application fee. The form will be considered as submitted only once the university has received the fee payment made by the aspirant.
Once the application form is submitted, candidates can either download or take the print out for any future references.
Note: Candidates have to fill and submit the application form before the last date issued by the university. The unreserved, EWS and OBC candidates have to pay the application fee of Rs. 800 whereas the SC/ST/PWD have to make a payment of Rs. 400.
