Andhra Pradesh Polytechnic Common Entrance Test is also known as AP POLYCET. The AP Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (POLYCET) is an entrance test for diploma programmes organized by the Andhra Pradesh State Board of Technical Education and Training (SBTET). Students can apply for admission to different engineering/non-engineering diploma programs offered by Polytechnics/institutions in Andhra Pradesh through the AP POLYCET.

About Tie-breaker Rule
If two or more candidates have the same score, the tie will be broken in the following order:
- Candidates with better maths scores will be ranked higher
- Candidates with better physics scores will be given a higher ranking
- If there is a tie, the elder candidate will be given a preference
