What is BA LL.B?
BA LL.B also known as Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Legislative Law is a 5-year undergraduate law degree that can be pursued after completing Class 12 or Bachelor's degree from a recognized board/university. B.Com LL.B (Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Legislative Law) is a 5-year professional undergraduate program that combines both commerce and law. Candidates who have an interest in the fields of commerce and law can opt for the B.Com LL.B degree. Within a span of 5 years, students can get two degrees and B.Com LL.B is studied by a lot of students nowadays. Eligibility Criteria for BA LL.B
To apply for BA LL.B, candidates must pass the law entrance tests that they have applied for. The entrance tests conducted are national-level, state-level or university-level.
- Interested candidates need to pass their 10+2 from a recognized board to get admission into BA LL.B. The final year students of Class 12 can also apply subject to the marks secured by them in their Class 12 final examination.
- The required minimum percentage of marks in Class 12 is 50% to 60%and 5% relaxation will be given to SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD background candidates.

Admission to the B.Com LL.B degree is strictly based on the national-level law entrance tests. Most Government and State colleges conduct their own common entrance tests. Before the candidates think of studying B.Com LL.B, let’s first discuss the eligibility criteria required to study the program.
- Candidates must complete their 10+2 from a recognized board.
- The minimum marks required to score in Class 12 is between 50% to 60% for General category candidates. However, the reserved category students will get a 5% relaxation.
- The maximum age limit for seeking admission to the B.Com LL.B course is 20 years for the general category & 22 years for the reserved category.
