A few examples of such core sector companies are TATA Electric, Exide Industries, Neolex Cables, Havells, Bajaj Electricals, Reliance, BSNL etc. Such companies employ electronics and communication engineers. However, the core sector is very competitive due to fewer opportunities and sometimes the candidates have to accept the fact and work for less reputed core sector companies.
Non-Core Sector - The non-core sector comprises of those companies which directly does not deal in the field of electronics and communication. These companies are basically software companies where a B.Tech ECE graduate can easily get into provided he/she has a working knowledge of programming languages like C or C++ etc and have exceptional communication skill.
