Admission Process of Law Schools/Colleges in India
The admission and selection process for various Law schools /colleges in India are:
National Law School of India (NLSIU)
Admission into NLSIU is done on the basis of the score obtained by the student in CLAT, followed by a personal interview.
Nalsar University of Law (NLU)
Admission for NALSAR is based on the CLAT score. After the score evaluation, the students will have to clear the group discussion and personal interview round.
Symbiosis Law School
For admission into law courses, students will have to apply online for Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT) . Further, they have to appear for the test, and based on the score obtained by the students in SET, admissions will be done.
Banaras Hindu University (BHU)
For admission into BHU law courses, the students will have to clear the BHU PET and BHU UET tests conducted by the university. After clearing the admission test, students will attend group discussions and personal interview rounds, followed by the counselling round.
ILS Law College
For UG law courses, the admission is done on the basis of MH CET test counselling. For PG courses, the admission is done on the basis of a personal interview conducted by the university.
Hidayatullah National Law University (HNLU)
Admissions into HNLU law UG and PG courses is done on the basis of counselling for the CLAT score of the student.
Dr Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University (RMLNLU)
Admission into UG law courses is done on the basis of the score obtained by the student in CLAT. Admissions into PG law courses are done based on the personal interview performance.
Faculty of Law, Jamia Millia Islamia
For admission into UG and PG law courses, the students will have to fill out the application process online or offline mode. Further, the students will have to attend the entrance test conducted by Jamia Millia Islamia University. The admission will be done on the basis of the score obtained in the entrance exam as well as graduation.

New Law College, Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University
Students will have to appear for the entrance test conducted by the university. Based on the score obtained, the admissions into law degrees will be done.
Christ University
For admission into Law programs, the student will have to appear for the group discussion and micro presentation round. Based on the score obtained by the student in these rounds, a written test will be conducted based on which, the student will be eligible for the admissions.
Army Institute of Law
Admission into the Army Institute of Law is done on the basis of the AIL LET entrance test score and counseling.
Institute of Law, Nirma University
After the online application, admission into the law degree of the university is based on the CLAT score of the student.
M.S. Ramaiah College of Law
Students will have to fill out the application form in online or offline mode. The admission for Law programs of the university will be based on the score obtained by the student in CLAT and 10+2.
Lloyd Law College
After the online application for admission, the student needs to appear for the Lloyd Entrance test. Based on the score obtained by the student in the entrance test, the final interview round will be conducted for admission.
Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies (VIPS)
The admission into law courses of VIPS is done on the basis of merit obtained by the student in the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test (GGSIPU CET) test.
CMR University (CMRU)
The admission into the university is done on the basis of CLAT score of the student. If the student has not obtained a valid score in CLAT, he/she will have to appear for the entrance test conducted by the university based on which, the admissions will be done.
Indore Institute of Law
After the online application, admission into the law course for the Indore Institute of Law will be done on the basis of the score obtained in the IILET.
K.L.E. Society’s Law College
The admission for the law courses will be done on the basis of LSAT score followed by a personal interview.
Amity University- Lucknow Campus
Students need to apply through online or offline mode by filling a form. The student will have to appear for the written test conducted by the college. Based on the score obtained by the student in the test, a final interview will be conducted for the admissions.
