Calcutta University conducts an entrance exam for the BA LLB course, and there are a total of 2,166 seats for the 2024-25 batch across 14 colleges. The entrance exam was held on August 18 and the merit list was released on August 23, 2024. The CU BA LLB participating colleges include the Department of Law, Calcutta University, Surendranath Law College and so on. The Calcutta University BA LLB seat matrix differs from college to college; ranging from 264 seats at LJD Law College to 198 at Heritage Law College.

Counselling is conducted in three rounds followed by a 4th round of the Calcutta University BA LLB counselling 2024 , which is a physical/ telephonic round for the candidates who have not been offered a seat in previous phases and there are vacant seats available in the affiliated Government colleges for the course. There's also a 5th admission round where self finance colleges will fill their vacant BA LLB seats based on first come first serve basis. How to Participate in Calcutta University BA LLB Seat Allotment Process?
