CCMN 2024: Special Round Registration (Started), Seat Allotment, Fee, Cutoff, Participating Institutes

CCMN 2024 Counselling Process is in progress. Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology has started the online process for the CCMN Special Round Registration 2024 on July 12, 2024. Candidates who did not receive a seat in the previous CCMN counselling rounds for 2024 can register for Special Round 1 until July 16, 2024. The deadline for filling out and locking in online choices is July 18, 2024. Candidates can register for the CCMN special round 2024 using their JAM registration IDs on the official website.

CCMN Seat Allotment for Round 3 got published on July 01, 2024, by  Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology (SVNIT), Surat as well. The result of the CCMN 2024 Round 3 Seat Allotment has been published on the official website at ccmn.admissions.nic.in. Students who have been allotted seats must paid the seat acceptance fee from July 01 to 04, 2024. The online document verification for the same started on July 01, 2024 and ended on July 05, 2024.

CCMN seat allotment result 2024 for the first phase was released on June 12, 2024. SVNIT initiated the CCMN 2024 Registration Process on May 24, 2024, and closed it on June 07, 2024. The last date to complete the choice filing process of the CCMN 2024 counselling was June 10, 2024. CCMN-2024 provides a common platform for candidates to apply for M.Sc./M.Sc.(Tech.) programs in NITs, IIEST Shibpur, and some CFTIs based on their JAM score of the year 2024. Candidates with qualification marks in the IIT JAM 2024 exam can register for CCMN counselling 2024.
Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology is the conducting authority for the CCMN counselling for the academic year 2024-25. The official notification for CCMN 2024 registration has been released.

Candidates can apply for admission to MSc/MSc (Tech) programmes through CCMN 2024. The student's IIT JAM exam score will determine whether or not they are admitted to these courses. Candidates who meet the cutoff score can be admitted to some GFTIs, IIEST Shibpur, and NITs. With the help of the CCMN centralised system, candidates can apply for various kinds of programmes at all participating institutions that meet their eligibility requirements with just one easy-to-use online application form. For admission to the institutes, CCMN will release several rounds of seat allocation.

In a nutshell, CCMN is a centralized counselling process conducted for those candidates who wish to pursue an MSc or MSc (Tech) from one of the National Institute of Technologies (NITs) or Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs) . The candidates also need to have a valid JAM score to be able to apply for the CCMN counselling for MSc/MSc (Tech) admissions in one of the NITs or CFTIs. In addition to the IIT-JAM scores, the candidates will be required to fulfil some eligibility criteria as well. Each year, the CCMN is conducted by different NITs on a rotational basis. The participating institute list comprises SLIET Longowal, IIEST Shibpur and 20 NITs.

CCMN 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Before registering for the CCMN 2024 counselling process, it is important that the aspirants should be well aware of the CCMN 2024 eligibility criteria provided in pointer format below -

• The applicants should have appeared in the JAM 2024 exam and should have qualified the same with the minimum required cutoff marks

• Applicants must have at least scored 60% aggregate marks (55% aggregate for SC/ST/PwD category candidates) in their qualifying exam

• Applicants must produce all their relevant documents to support their claim during the CCMN 2024 counselling process

• Applicants must make sure they do not cross the maximum age limit at the time of registering for the CCMN 2024 counselling process

• The applicants must ensure they go through the detailed eligibility criteria for the programme in which they wish to get admission and not the other programmes

CCMN 2024 Application Form

The CCMN 2024 application form has been released on May 24, 2024. The applicants have to ensure they fill out the CCMN 2024 application form very carefully with the correct details and provide the correct choices as far as the institutions are concerned. After it, the applicants have to upload all the required documents and finally submit the CCMN 2024 online application fee to submit their application forms for the CCMN 2024 counselling process.

The CCMN 2024 application fee which has to be submitted by the applicants is INR 3,000/- (Rs. 2,500 for SC/ ST/ PwD). The seat acceptance fee for the General/ General EWS and OBC category is Rs. 30,000, and the same for SC/ ST/ PwD is Rs. 10,000.

CCMN Cutoff 2024

According to the performance of the applicants in the JAM 2024 exam and the number of seats vacant in each institution, the CCMN 2024 cutoff list will be released by the officials. On the basis of the CCMN cutoff list and the availability of seats in the desired programme in the desired institution, the allocation of seats to the candidates will be done. The CCMN 2024 cutoff list will consist of the opening and closing scores. There will be three cutoff lists that will be released by the officials. If at the conclusion of the third round of seat allotment on the basis of the third CCMN cutoff list seats remain vacant, those vacant seats will be filled by the CCMN 2024 Spot Round.

CCMN 2024 Seat Allotment Process

The CCMN 2024 seat allotment process will be carried out in three rounds after the release of the CCMN 2024 cutoff list three times. If a candidate is allocated a seat, he/she has to submit the counselling participation fee via the ICICI bank EazyPay. To confirm a seat allocated to the candidate, he/she has to pay a sum of 30,000 (10,000 for SC/ ST)/- rupees as CCMN counselling confirmation fee and thereafter, they can download the provisional admission letter.
