Ph.D. is considered the highest academic degree in all over the world. Candidates seeking for Ph.D. courses admission at the Central University of Karnataka must have excellent previous academic records. The prime eligibility criteria for Ph.D. admissions 2019 at Central University of Karnataka is the performance in CUCET 2019. Though there are another set of eligibility criteria which are as follows:

  • Applicant must have completed his Masters’ degree from any UGC recognised university
  • Applicant must have scored a minimum of 55% in his Masters Level Studies
  • For applicants belonging from economically backward sections, the minimum Masters passing mark is 50%
  • Applicant should apply for a Ph.D. specialisation which the candidate has studied before in Master Level. If not the same subject, related subjects are also acceptable.
  • The candidate must have passed the CUCET 2019 entrance test.
  • Candidates who have passed NET or SLET are exempted from taking CUCET 2019 test

The application process of Ph.D. admission at the Central University of Kerala is done through the common admission portal of Central Universities. The common admission portal seeks application for CUCET 2019 examination. The candidate has to log on to the website and follow the following steps to apply forPh.D.D admission 2019 at Central University of Karnataka.

  • First, the candidate has to log in the CUCET exam portal website
  • On that website, there will be an ‘Apply Online’ button
  • After clicking on that, the applicant has to select ‘Start New Application.’
